Nia's philosophy is through movement we find health, and classes are based on the idea that exercise should feel good inside and out. Nia promotes mindfulness, holistic fitness, and well-being, while empowering people of all shapes and sizes to connect to body, mind, emotions, and spirit by paying attention to sensation.

Nia Seattle Jams: A twice-yearly collaboration of Puget Sound Nia Instructors. As the 2014 Event Coordinator for Nia Seattle, I presented the Spring and Fall Dance Jams as fundraisers for the following local organizations:
Spring Jam 2014: Dance For Kids!
5/18/14: Mt. Baker Community Center, Seattle, WA. 58 dancers raised $545 for Friends of CASA , a 501©(3) nonprofit organization that invests in abused and neglected children by providing essential resources to establish safe and permanent homes: www.friendsofcasakc.org
