Detox/Anti-inflammatory Water Recipe

Here's a recipe for Sue Hitzman’s Detox Water (as shared on Dr. Oz)
I've enjoyed many variations of this drink, which can be flavored to taste.

Detox Water Recipe

24 oz water

1/8 tsp cayenne pepper or pinch of fresh cayenne
Capsaicin is the substance in cayenne pepper that gives it the heat!
Cayenne may help with weight loss, heartburn relief, improved circulation.
(Cayenne extract is also available at natural-foods markets)

1 tbs fresh ginger shavings
Ginger can be used to aid digestion and relieve nausea.
(Ginger extract is also available at natural-foods markets)

Juice of one lemon
Lemon is a powerful detox. It can alkalize the body and soothe a sore throat.
(Pure lemon juice is also available at natural-foods markets)

Other tasty ingredients to flavor your water?

Mint: can help settle stomach and aid with digestion.

Cucumber: has anti-inflammatory properties and excellent for rehydration.

Now that we're drinking more water, MELT to get re-hydrated at a connective tissue level.
